The solution architecture involves an Office Add-in that interacts with a serverless backend hosted on AWS. This backend comprises Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Bedrock. API Gateway serves as the entry point for requests from the Office Add-in, while Lambda handles the REST API integration and invokes the appropriate AWS services. Amazon Bedrock provides access to a variety of foundation models, allowing you to choose the best fit for your use case. The Office Add-in, built using standard web technologies, can be hosted on AWS with minimal infrastructure overhead, using services like Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront. The integration uses Microsoft’s Office JavaScript APIs to modify Word content, making the experience seamless and intuitive.
